The Skycatch Drone Mission Planner offers a professional and multifunctional solution for autonomous drone mission planning. Compatible with Skycatch Explore1, DJI P4, P4P, P4RTK, and M210RTK drones, this robust app streamlines aerial mapping operations from takeoff to landing while allowing users to tailor flight settings for precise image capture.
- Efficiently select areas of interest on satellite maps or import custom base maps
- Automatically generate optimized flight plans, including waypoints, speed, and overlap based on selected altitude and resolution
- Control flight path direction in consideration of factors such as wind, terrain, and obstacles
- Seamlessly pause and resume missions as needed, even for tasks like drone battery replacement
- Auto-save mission plans for recurrent data collection at designated sites
When integrated into the High Precision Package (HPP) for Mining by Skycatch, the app facilitates cloud-based processing of geotagged drone imagery. This processing results in orthomaps, point clouds, 3D mesh, and DTMs that can be measured, overlaid, marked up, analyzed, and shared utilizing Skycatch Data Hub or compatible point cloud software.
